Prelude

There are times where a story is best told by the person who lived it. Other times it is best if the story is told by someone who knew the truth. This, gentlemen, is one of those stories. You see, Sarah Jane is not necessarily who she was but who she is. The name she was born with, I do not know, nor do I think anyone will. The name she has now is the one that is hers alone. She did not so much become the name, as the name became her.

All I know is that which I have found out through years of conversations and adventures. I cannot tell you all there is about her, I wasn’t there for all of it. All I can tell you is the beginning. And what a beginning it was . . .
